All The Things We Wish We Had
All the things we wish we had;
Re-wound moments from the past,
Second chances, new beginnings,
Ways to pause the many endings.
Dreams no longer within reach,
Angry words that ran unleashed,
Goals that withered, died, and faded
Every time we tried and failed.
Lovers that do not exist,
Second chances to be kissed,
Options, options, options endless,
All the things we forfeit, senseless.
